Bill Evans and I took off on Friday afternoon on a clear cold day headed to Fairbanks.  We took pictures on the way up with the idea we would also take pictures of the aurora before checking in to our lodge in Fairbanks.  Saturday we took our time getting up and went to the BP World Ice Championships. See the Daytime Ice.  That afternoon we went north to Chatanika lodge and visited the Chatanika Gold Dredge.  That evening we visited the Ice show and took pictures again.  Later we had the show of a lifetime taking pictures of the aurora again.  Sunday we visited the Fountianhead Auto museum.
